Working in a niche sector and acting as a disruptor within their market, this highly-respected, successful business within the property, construction and real estate sector are now seeking a Commercially minded Finance Business Partner.

This is a newly created position, and you will act as the financially ‘savvy’ business partner to a range of other Departments.

You will provide financial forecasts and analysis along with presenting to the highly-engaging CEO and Senior Leadership Team regarding the impact of potential actions and investments, ensuring you have a direct impact on the commercial decisions taken.

To be effective in this position, you will be able to challenge senior stakeholders from a range of functions regarding their underlying assumptions and information. This is an expected trait within the business and, to date, this cultural approach has ensured the accuracy and success of the decision making, ultimately creating their superb reputation.

You should be highly I.T competent, a proven background of being able to build and maintain relationships, diplomacy with a ‘challenger’ mentality and the type of person who revels in being pro-active, a self-starter and likes to take responsibility for their decisions.

You will also need strong financial systems experience and advanced Excel knowledge.

  • Technically strong with a relevant professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
  • Strong analytical skills with good attention to detail and the ability to retain the wider view
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • An understanding of the property/construction/development sector is advantageous
