You will need an inquisitive mindset that ensures you look beyond the numbers, to challenge how to effectively use the information produced by the Finance Function.

Overseeing, developing and coaching a Finance Team, you will be getting heavily involved in ensuring there is a robust structure to support commercial decision making. A proven ability to liaise with both finance and non-finance colleagues at all levels, and demonstrate a high level of commercial acumen is essential for this opportunity.

This is a fast-paced environment with a highly collaborative approach to their working style, and the ability to work in this manner and ensure ‘team-fit’ is a key criteria.

The business is run by intelligent, challenger-type personalities, meaning that you will need to be a sharp and strong collaborator. This Management Team are supportive, highly credible and are very open and welcoming to ideas and insight on this growth journey.

Duties include:

• Responsible for monthly management accounts across the Group, with autonomy to put your own stamp on reporting methods

• Providing monthly/long-term P&L, cash flow and balance sheet forecasting and modelling

• Relevant high volume environment experience and controls/systems knowledge

• Implementing further improvements and structure within the finance team to support the businesses growth plans

• Create a continuous improvement framework, ensuring that models are accurate

Requirements

  • Experience working in both hands-on and commercial, strategic roles within a recruitment business
  • Strong Excel and I.T. Skills
  • An engaging personality with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels
  • Commercially aware, with the credibility and authority to gain respect and influence in a driven, energetic, commercial sales environment.
  • A relevant accountancy qualification (CIMA, ACCA, ACA)
