As the Finance Director, you are going to be a key part of this story.
Working closely with a driven, credible, supportive and experienced CEO and SLT you will lead the finance function, be responsible for the strategic financial direction of the Company and work as a strong strategic partner internally with all areas of the business, and externally with investors, clients and other partners.
As with many high-growth SME businesses, your role will cover the strategic, high-level responsibilities, as well as ensuring the efficient performance of the Finance function on a day-to-day basis.
If you are collaborative in your approach and have a history of offering insights and tools that drive commercially oriented independent decision making across previous businesses, this could be the ideal match.
Your success will ultimately be defined by the performance of the finance function and building effective relationships with the Board of Directors, instinctively understanding their perspective, and you will need to proactively provide the information and insight necessary for decision making.
About you
You’ll have a relevant accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) & will have successfully led a finance function, taking a business through a growth journey
You’ll have a proven track record of implementing & leading a performance-based culture & providing training and support to line managers
You’ll be experienced in building and implementing financial processes at scale and creating a culture of constant improvement
It is advantageous to have experience of this, or highly relevant sectors
