Are you an experienced, recruitment sector Financial Director, with a strong background of implementing controls and processes within a high-growth business?

A highly regarded, international recruitment and training business, driven by an engaging Senior Leadership Team, now require a commercially astute and technically competent individual to support their journey.

The business is an exceptionally well-respected, market leading consultancy who already have a strong foothold in their sector and are combining acquisitional and organic growth.

Having been backed with a multi-million pound investment, the ‘journey’ that this company are planning, is going to be interesting, challenging and rewarding for all involved.


Whilst the existing, global business has a finance structure with both internal and external support, they are now seeking to improve their robust financial controls and insightful reporting. You will clearly play a key role in this process.

Your role will include managing, motivating and developing a Finance Team, taking overall responsibility for accounting systems, assisting the Directors in preparing budgets for each of the company’s divisions, management reporting, statutory reporting as well as being hands-on with the day-to-day requirements involved in a growth SME.

You will need to provide technical compliance and best practice advice and be able to engage and communicate effectively with numerous non-finance stakeholders.

Experience of leading a recruitment business towards an event will be beneficial and you will need to be the type of person who uses initiative and commercial acumen to resolve challenges.

You will be a close aid and a sounding board for the highly supportive, knowledgeable CEO and Leadership Team, assisting with the production of commercially insightful financial information.

The Management Team are supportive, highly credible and are very open and welcoming to ideas and insight on this growth journey. The business is in a phenomenal position within a market they know well.

Being I.T. literate, especially being highly adept with Excel, is a prerequisite.

  • Experience working in both hands-on and strategic roles within a recruitment business
  • Strong Excel and I.T. Skills
  • An engaging personality with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels
  • Commercially aware, with the credibility and authority to gain respect and influence in a driven, energetic, commercial sales environment.
  • A relevant accountancy qualification (CIMA, ACCA, ACA)
