Finance Business Partner - to £55,000pa. +Bens

Working closely with a highly engaging Senior Leadership Team, this role will suit an experienced, commercially astute, qualified finance professional who has strong communication skills and the ability to engage with a variety of stakeholders as well as having a ‘hands-on’ mentality.

You will work closely with, and report to, the engaging Head of Finance and CFO to drive process improvements and track financial performance.

Being responsible for a division of the organisation and acting as the link between the finance and operations functions, you will take responsibility for financial reporting, budgeting at a senior level, preparation of divisional accounts, compiling and presenting various management information, KPIs, budgets, forecasts and financial modelling. You will also be responsible for ensuring the overall compliance with best practice/regulatory requirements.

Given the level and geographical remit of this post, you will need to balance your time, travelling between a couple of the organisation’s sites. Therefore travel between South Hertfordshire and south-east Berkshire (when possible), will be a requirement of this role.

Ultimately, communication skills and commercial acumen are key and you will have a ‘business partnering’ approach to non-finance departments and stakeholders.

You will also need strong financial systems experience and advanced Excel knowledge.

Requirements

  • Technically strong with a relevant professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
  • Strong analytical skills with good attention to detail and the ability to retain the wider view
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • An understanding of the care, charity or social care sector and/or social housing
