Financial Planning Analyst - c£50,000pa plus excellent benefits

Reporting into the Financial Planning Manager and supporting the highly credible and engaging Divisional Financial Controller, this role has a large degree of autonomy and will be responsible for working closely with this senior team to drive constant improvements in both processes and reporting.

 

Key to your success will be your ability to demonstrate a commercial acumen and an ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels (both within finance and non-finance) and be an effective business partner.

 

About you

  • You will be an experienced Qualified Accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) with a strong commercial grounding.
  • Previous retail and/or multi-site experience is beneficial.
  • Experience of Business Partnering with Senior Stakeholders and capable of operating in a changing and fast-moving environment.
  • Self-managing, capable of planning and prioritising a broad and extensive range of activities.
  • You will have a keen eye for detail and accuracy, ensuring financial data is summarised in a logical and informative manner, appropriate to the given audience
  • You will have advanced Excel skills and an ability to present financial data in a clear manner

You will also be a strong communicator; building credible relationships and influencing across teams through having a solid awareness of people as well as numerical data

 

The role

As a member of the international FP&A team you will work with various business partners and senior finance colleagues to produce impactful financial analysis and forecasts in order to guide value-adding strategic decision making.

There will be significant opportunity to identify and implement improvements to existing forecasting processes.

Support the production of  robust Management Information that is robust and offers business analysis, performance management and operational planning/forecasting for the relevant international business units/regions.

Assist with the implementation of improvements to process improvements.

Given the regional factors, this can be a complex division/role and you will be working closely with and engaging regional stakeholders to ensure consistency of all planning and forecasting.
