Group Finance Director

Following a fast period of organic growth, and with continued expansion into global markets, the business is now looking to recruit an experienced Finance Director to support the CEO and Board of Directors. The role is a newly created opportunity to relinquish senior operational financial responsibilities and financial strategy from the current CFO who will move into a more commercial management position.

This role is key to the growth of the organisation and you will work closely with the CEO to drive both the UK and international financials. You will be pivotal in identifying and analysing new business opportunities, analysing current and potential business wins, assess the feasibility of operations in new areas/products as well as new countries/regions. There will be projects around due diligence and market analysis and you will have the autonomy to drive them.

Motivating and mentoring the Finance team, you will also oversee all aspects of financial control, compliance, statutory accounting and Year End as well as budgeting and forecasting. You will manage relationships with the banks, legal firms, external accountants, HMRC and other external professional bodies.

You will have the gravitas to operate as part of the leadership team and with the clout to deals with stakeholders internally and externally, be confident and thrive within a change environment.
