This business is already set to increase revenue by 30% on last year, has recently established 2 new divisions, and is about the start its journey to launch an IPO. You will work directly with a highly experienced and engaging Finance Director, with regular collaboration with their extremely commercial, recently appointed CFO. You will oversee and mentor a team of 4 and be responsible for all aspects of financial reporting and controls.
There will be considerable cross-finance working with their commercial and transactional teams, as well as across the business, so strong stakeholder management and effective communication is key.
As with any fast growth business, there comes the challenge of processes, procedures and systems being kept up to speed, so there will be a need to “roll your sleeves up” when required and to have a continual focus on improving processes and increasing efficiencies. With this comes a need to be highly competent with accountancy software and to have strong spreadsheet skills.
The role will manage all statutory accounting and reporting, VAT and tax submissions, managing the Year End process and working closely with auditors. Strong technical accounting skills are essential and you will work closely with the FD on the IPO preparation.

Requirements

Fully Qualified Accountant ACA/ACCA with previous experience in a similar role

Previous experience working through an IPO

An engaging personality with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels

Experience working within fast paced businesses

Strong I.T. and systems skills with the ability to manipulate and present data effectively
