Way too many adverts say ‘exciting opportunity’.
Why is it exciting? Should that annoy me?
It’s lazy advertising and although the writer is clearly excited, most adverts don’t explain what’s so exciting from the candidates perspective.
Writing a good advert is an art! If you’re responsible for recruiting within your business and you engage an agency that writes ‘typical’ adverts on LinkedIn and job boards and merely forwards CVs onto you, save money and do that yourself!
Old fashioned ‘CV sending’ agencies who don’t add genuine value to your business in other ways are a dying breed for a good reason.
