As the new Senior Financial Reporting Manager, you will be a key part of this.
You will take responsibility for all statutory and group reporting requirements, plus support on direct taxation for the UK Group. You will take the lead on key relationships with auditors and the external Corporation Tax compliance team.
You must be a technically strong accountant, with the ability to keep you finger on the pulse of what the business is doing and ensuring that this translates accurately into financial statements.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE
• Maintain an overview of the statutory P&L and balance sheet of all entities within the Group.
• Preparation of all financial accounting adjustments and entries such as provisions, taxation or business acquisitions / disposals.
• Be a key part of the project team as required on M&A activity.
• Manage both UK consolidation and IFRS reporting/consolidation adjustments up to the parent based overseas
• Preparation of all UK Statutory Financial Statements
• Own the relationship with external auditors and take responsibility for the UK audit process
Your ability to communicate effectively, working with and presenting to internal and external stakeholders at all levels is essential.

Requirements

You will be an ACA/ACCA Qualified Accountant with 3+ years PQE

A keen eye for detail and accuracy, ensuring financial data is summarised in a logical way and targeted to the relevant audience
