– Introduced divisional P&L reporting and detailed revenue/margin analysis
– Built five-year plan model for use by owners and senior management
– Financial and commercial KPI inputs to the M&A process
– Built business case to open in the Middle East
– Increased working capital by £1m with more accurate inventory reporting
– Finance business partner to global sales, marketing and operations
– Work with department heads to minimise margin erosion
– Jointly implemented new CRM and management reporting system
– Integration of new acquisitions into existing reporting structure
– Secured £2m+  of lease finance, delivering c£1m operating gross margin

– Long and short-term cash flow forecasting and spend analysis
– Revenue and margin analysis
– Creating monthly management information pack
– Annual budget process and bi-annual forecast
– Preparation of statutory accounts for the group and consolidation
– Inventory reporting and analysis
– Preparation of VAT returns
– Stock & fixed asset accounting, WIP analysis
– Liaison with Banks, Insurance companies and external auditors
– Advanced IT skills including SAP, SUN, Sage, MS Dynamics
– Excel modelling skills
– Experience within Education, Publishing, FMCG, IT, Public Practice
