Many roles say that you can ‘make your mark’ on a business, however this couldn’t be more apt than with this opportunity.
Operating within the Social/Home Building/Construction sector, the ‘foundations’ of this commercial organisation (with a social heart), are already in place.
Experiencing substantial growth, they are now seeking their first, commercially astute finance professional who has strong communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with a variety of stakeholders as well as having a ‘can-do’ mentality.
Given that you will be the first finance person who is dedicated to this specific business, you also need to strike that well-known balance within any SME of being hands-on and adopting a pragmatic approach to the transactional requirements.
Your role will include taking overall responsibility for accounting systems, overseeing the preparation of the management information and reporting, statutory reporting, taxation, banking and additional, finance-related strategic involvement.
This is a challenging but rewarding opportunity for the successful individual who will be able to help to shape the current and future financial performance of the business, and be given the autonomy to put their stamp on it.
