Are you an experienced, qualified, Financial Controller who is keen to make a difference within the hospitality sector?

If you have a background of coaching and mentoring a team, identifying and driving process improvements and supporting a highly engaging Finance Director/CFO within a growth business, this could be an ideal match.

They are driven by a respected, knowledgeable and ambitious Senior Leadership Team who now require a commercially astute and technically competent individual to support their journey.

Managing the day-to-day Finance Department, you will be a close aid and a sounding board for the Finance Director, assisting with the production of commercially insightful financial information.

The opportunity will suit an individual with strong communication skills and the ability to engage with a variety of stakeholders as well as having a ‘hands-on’ mentality.

Your role will include taking overall responsibility for accounting systems, overseeing the preparation of the management information and reporting, statutory reporting, taxation, banking and additional, finance-related strategic involvement.

Whilst the business has an existing structure, you will review their current financial controls and you will play a key role in ensuring efficiency and best practice.

As with any role of this nature, you will need to be prepared to be hands-on with day-to-day requirements as well as the involvement in the strategic and operational duties.

You will need to be the type of person who uses initiative and commercial acumen to resolve challenges and if being part of a growth journey excites you and fits with your experience and sector background, this could be an ideal opportunity.

  • A relevant accountancy qualification (CIMA, ACCA, ACA)
  • An engaging personality with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels
  • Experience of implementing financial controls and processes
  • Strong Excel and I.T. Skills
  • Hospitality or service industry experience is advantageous but not essential
