We have partnered with a highly reputable, market-leading and EXCEPTIONAL professional services company based in both London and Surrey, who are THAT well-kept secret!

With 200-300 people in their team, and currently experiencing a period of growth, their people and culture are at the very core of their long-term success.

With international reach, they now require a Head Of HR/HR Director to oversee a team and all aspects of their HR function.

Whilst we could provide a list of duties and tasks, this won’t give you a true flavour for this role, the business or what makes it so special. It is your ability to embrace this ‘special’ culture that will be the foundation for your success.

This is clearly a key hire for the business and one of the essential requirements is an ability to engage with a wide range of stakeholders.

As with many growth SMEs, you will also need a pragmatic approach towards balancing strategic input and requirements with a ‘hands-on’ mentality.

The role reports into a long-standing Senior Leadership Team who will seek advice, opinions and an experienced sounding-board.

Naturally, we meet with a lot of companies who are looking to recruit. Occasionally however, we meet people who leave us so engaged that it’s as if we’re recruiting for our own business and this is one of those rare occasions.

Requirements

  • Strong generalist HR background with previous experience operating within a growth SME
  • Sound knowledge of Employment Law and managing ER cases
  • Previous experience mentoring an HR Team
  • Solid experience managing Pay & Reward, including overseeing payroll
  • A keen eye for detail and accuracy, ensuring relevant information is summarised in a logical way and targeted to the relevant audience
  • Would suit someone used to operating as number 1 in HR, or an experienced individual who is keen to step up
  • A positive and collaborative approach
